FAQ & Quick Help

Topic 1 : About Website

Q: I want to purchase a font  license on your website but can’t create an account there.
How can I create an account?

A: Currently, Letterhend does not have a dedicated registration page.
However, your account will be created automatically during checkout or after your purchase.

👉 For a detailed guide please see this article:
https://www.letterhend.com/blog/website-guide-how-to-download-your-fonts-create-an-account-on-our-website/

Q: I want to check how the font looks with my brand name. Can i try the font before purchase?
A: Yes! You can preview any font using the Type Tester on our website. It lets you test your own text with all available glyphs, including numbers, punctuation, ligatures, swashes, alternate characters, and multilingual characters.

👉 For a full tutorial on using the Type Tester, check this article:
 https://www.letterhend.com/blog/using-alternate-character-in-type-taster/

Q: What types of fonts are available on your website?
A: We offer a wide variety of fonts, including sans serif, serif, script, and display fonts. All of our fonts are provided in a ZIP file that includes both OTF and TTF formats.

Topic 2: License Usage

Q: What font licenses are available at Letterhend?
A: The available license options are displayed on the right-hand side of each font product page. For a complete breakdown of what each license includes, please visit: https://www.letterhend.com/licenses/

Q: I need a license beyond the standard commercial use. Where can I get it?
A: You can purchase additional licenses on our website: www.letterhend.com

Q: I need a web font license and also want to use the font on my desktop. Do I need to purchase separate licenses?
A: Yes. If you want to use our fonts for both desktop and web purposes, you will need to purchase two separate licenses: a Standard License for desktop use and a web font License for website use.

Alternatively, you can purchase an Extended License, which covers both desktop and web use, along with unlimited commercial usage.

Q: Can I sell template products like book sheets or logo using your fonts?
A: Yes, you can use our fonts to create and sell digital products such as templates, logos, and other designs. With a Standard License, you may sell end products within the license limit. If you need unlimited commercial usage, you can upgrade to an Extended License.

However, you must not include, embed, distribute, or share the font files (OTF, TTF, WOFF, etc.) with your digital products or your customers. Only the final design or end product may be sold.

This version is clearer, uses proper licensing terminology, and better explains the important restriction that the font files themselves cannot be redistributed.

Topic 3: Refund Policy

Q: I downloaded the font but realized it’s not suitable for me. Can I get a refund?
A: Refunds are not accepted once the font has been downloaded. However, if you experience any issues, we’re happy to help! Please reach out to us with any concerns.

Q: I accidentally purchased the same font twice. Can I get a refund?
A: If the font file has not been downloaded yet, you can request a refund for the duplicate purchase.

Q: Can I share the fonts I purchase with others?
